We are excited that you are interested in co-chairing a committee for HJWC during the 2024 - 2025 Club year!

It is a very rewarding experience that enhances the club and connects you to a variety of new and returning members! Please complete the form in total.

Below for reference are the chair responsibilities and an overview of available committees. If you have any questions, please email Lauren Markham at president@hjwc.us

Chair Responsibilities

Attend the HJWC Leadership Seminar (summer).
Prepare a committee budget; discuss with the President and Treasurer at your scheduled budget meeting.
Attend General Meetings and Board Meetings and maintain the same standards as all club members.
Hold monthly Committee Meetings and report information from Board Meetings to your committee.
Keep attendance records of committee members and report to 2nd VP/Membership.
Prepare Weekly News submissions for the 1st VP, and prepare social media post submissions for the Secretary.
Complete a Project Report for each project or program in which your committee participates and submit it to the Secretary.
Encourage participation and support of the annual Benefit, along with all the other great events throughout the year.
Organize your committee to host a General Meeting. The President will assign you a month to provide food.
